Vaccum System specialist (Engineer/Technician)

Troubleshoots vacuum system leaks using helium mass spectrometer leak detector

Analyzes vacuum system performance using residual gas analyzer (RGA) and technical reference data

In depth knowledge of vacuum measurement devices including sensors data loggers and controls.

In depth knowledge of temperature measurement devices including thermocouples, recorder and controllers.

Knowledge of gases used for generating an inert atmosphere in vacuum chambers.

Ability to cross reference several pressure measurement units.

Understanding of voltage and current analog signal control loops.

Understanding of communication protocols used between electronic devices i.e. RS232, Ethernet

Researches/Reccomends system components, pumps, valves and method for process improvements

Troubleshoots repairs and maintains computer controlled mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.

Ability to set up and maintain robust preventive maintenance schedules for all vacuum systems improvements.

Ability to optimize mechanical repairs on systems and equipment.

SENIOR / EXECUTIVE PROJECT ENGINEER, NETWORK RENEWAL (SYSTEMS)

You will play a lead role in managing the Contractors to design, modify, supply, install, test and commission the Signalling, Communication or the Integrated supervisory & control systems for the enhancement of existing Lines. You will be involved in the preparation of tender specifications and review of contractors’ submissions. You will assist in ensuring safe, reliable, cost effective, and quality signalling system. You will also be involved in the planning and managing the risks and cashflows of the various contracts as well as the issuance of instructions and assessment of variations/ backcharges/ payments/ claims. You are required to liaise with various parties, such as project teams, contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and appointed Railway Operators to ensure that the projects are well integrated and coordinated. Signaling System

You will have an opportunity to work on state-of-the-art driverless automatic train control system, automatic train protection and computer-based interlocking systems.

Communication Systems

You will have an opportunity to work on various communication systems technologies such as fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address & telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management and travel information systems.

Integrated Supervisory & Control System

You will have an opportunity to work on various integrated supervisory & control systems technologies such as server hardware, workstations hardware, main control system software, database management, training and simulator software.

Requirements:

Recognized Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

At least 4 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with relevant experience in safety, quality, contract and programme management

Strong project management, decision making and leadership skills with proven track records

Good communication and presentation skills

Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented.

Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical works.

Those with more years of relevant experience will be considered for senior positions

Experience in the construction of underground MRT stations will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

Forms part of a project team and is accountable to the Project Lead Engineer and/or Project Manager for the project execution work.

Understands the safety, legal and technical specification requirements relevant to specific project.

To consolidate and review various technical documents, follow-up and carry out various coordination activities between the engineering team and customer, including technical clarifications, queries, engineering change, engineering document tracking and expediting, technical information housekeeping, etc.

In charge of producing certain general engineering deliverables, as assigned by Project Lead Engineer.

Perform other duties related to the project execution work, including site related activities.

Requirements:

Posses diploma/degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/IT/Electrical Engineering

Min. 5 years experience in executing detail engineering design and system integration of telecommunication systems in oil / gas / petrochemical / mining / utility projects, preferably offshore facilities

Have good and broad understanding of various telecom systems used in oil / gas facilities.

Understanding about hazardous area classification and experience in installation, testing, and commissioning in oil/gas/petrochemical project is an added advantage

Previous exposure as project / interface engineer is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and customer interfacing skills at various technical level.

Team player with positive work attitude and willingness to put extra efforts to meet the tight schedule.

Moderate traveling or short term assignment to customer office (in South Korea) may be required.
