Responsibilities:
To perform the whole spectrum of purchasing functions for sourcing business requires or searching for better deals, i.e. price or contract negotiation with suppliers, monitoring delivery of products or services, assessing costs for competitiveness, compliance with requirements.
To ensure effective communication of products or services requirement to suppliers, conduct research to ascertain the best value, delivery schedule and quality.
To liaise with logistics, shipping and transport companies to ensure on-time delivery of products.
To liaise between business and project departments, negotiate contracts based on commercial and technical factors, check the quality of service, update latest products and services changes.
To assist Purchasing Manager to develop purchasing strategy, perform market analysis and identify potential suppliers, etc
Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma in Engineering discipline
Preferably with at least 5 years’ relevant purchasing experience in Electrical/Electronic components and computer systems.
Good inter-personal skill
Willing to travel oversea
Competency in PC skills is essential
Excellent organization, problem solving and negotiation skills
