ELECTRICIAN
Responsibilities:
- To carry out installation of electrical wiring and appliances on-site
- Carry out trouble shooting and repair work when machines breakdown or malfunction
- Apply EMA license for all temporary electrical supply installation
- Able to carry out minor repair or resetting of M & E system
- If in-house repair is not possible, to liaise with supplier to carry out trouble shooting and repair .
- Plan, monitor and follow up on the maintenance of electrical facilities in the plant.
- Ensure that inspections and testing of the electrical distribution equipment and tools are carried out according to statutory requirements
- To keep records of all licenses, checklist and single line drawing for all temporary electrical works
- Complete Maintenance Work Order form with accurate and useful information; detailing the actions taken
- Liaise with HSE department on the implementation good electrical practices to improve standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the oil & gas, marine or offshore industry
- Possess at least a G.C.E 'N' / 'O' / Nitec in Electrical or Electronics
- Must hold valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) license issued by the Energy Market Authority (EMA)
