Job Description:
· Assist the Project Chief Engineer (PCE) in all contractual technical & design issues, prototyping trials, troubleshooting, design reviews & project coordination tasks
· Will be part of the Project Core team, working together with the trial manager and the respective functional groups like system leads, system safety engineers, testing engineers, reliability and maintainability / integrated logistics and solutions engineers etc to manage all issues pertaining to platform safety, performance, and supportability and reliability requirements
· Support adjacent upgrading programme(s) or subsequent production of the product(s).
· Assist PCE in the vehicle design reviews, vehicular and system/sub-system qualification test and reliability test
· Assist PCE in managing CAD models, documentation, design changes and drawings in team center
· Be involved in the Vehicle configuration, Onboard Vehicle Material and sub system assemblies
· Support the upgrading programmes and series production
Requirement:
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering
· Keen interest in developing mechanical designs and acquiring in-depth technical knowledge in areas of responsibility
· Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
· Basic skills in Unigraphics and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, knowledge in fabrication and machining processes would be an advantage
· Good presentation skills
· Experience in technical report writing would be an advantage
· Possess positive and modest attitude in acquiring technical knowledge
· Possess strong organizational and coordination skills
· Able to communicate and sustain good relationships in dealing with working counterparts at all levels, including customers and users of the products
· Able to work in a dynamic environment, and be resilient to changes
