Responsibilities
- Collect, organize and review quality records in accordance with ISO, customer requirements and company’s quality management systems and standards
- Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans for products and projects to customer requirements and company standards
- Facilitate projects by working with customers, Third Party inspectors and operational personnel to develop, compile and review non-conformance reports, corrective/preventive action requests, data book and other quality related documentations such as non-destructive examination reports, weld maps etc.
- Compile materials certificates, sub-supplier documentation (sent with free issued material), material traceability list, hardness report for raw, hardness test reports, coating report, WPS & PQR, signed job routing, welding log, post weld heat treatment report, dimensional inspection report, RT & PT reports, hydrostatic pressure test report and chart and final coating report.
- Work with QC/NDE section to organize QC/NDE inspection.
- Coordinate and liaise with inter-departments and/or vendors to smoothen the flow of jobs or impact on on-time delivery and quality.
- Assist to verify quantity, type and condition of purchased materials which includes customer supplied items on arrival.
- Quality inspection on plant or subcontractor’s in-progress or finished components and products.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical, Precision Engineering, Quality Assurance or equivalent
- Knowledge on RT, PT, MT and UT will be advantageous
