Responsibilities:
- Respond to fault-call and perform corrective actions.
- Manage third party vendors for problem resolutions, ensuring timely closure for problem tickets generated.
- Perform on-site scheduled maintenance of communications network infrastructure.
- Perform patch and security update, and monitor equipment spares and EOS/EOL.
- Perform on-site technical and deployment support for major events/exercises.
- Generate maintenance reports on progress, incidents and faults, hardware/software obsolescence.
- Any other adhoc tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering, ICT, IT or Computing; or Higher NITEC/ NITEC / NTC / ITC with minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in maintaining Digital Trunked Radio, Radio Switch and etc.;
- Good working knowledge in Radio Communications, Transmission Network, LAN, WAN, Data Communications, TCP/IP;
- Experience in system administration, network, desktop and security administration;
- Willing to perform 12 hours shift work;
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and team player with good working attitude.
