Presales Solution Consultant
Job Scope
- Engage customer actively to understand customer requirements
- Work closely with internal & external suppliers to develop winning technical solution design, technical write-up, bill of material & costing in response to tenders & customer requests
- Deliver solution presentation to customers to articulate proposed solution's unique value proposition
- Provide high quality & timely response to customer clarifications
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing with customers
- Work closely with product management team to develop repeatable solution IP assets
- Keep abreast of latest technology & product development in the field of interests
- Evaluate different industry solutions & produce competitive analysis reports
- Monitor & guide junior team members
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge in physical security & access control, integrated building management systems, biometric (facial, iris & fingerprint), video content analytic, video surveillance & public safety enforcement solutions
- Domain knowledge of Safe/Smart Cities, C2 / C4i or Telematic / M2M solutions will be an added advantage
- Familiar with defence or homeland security agencies stringent IT security requirement
- Strong system design skill with proven track records in designing end to end solutions covering core solution components, servers, storage, network, telecommunication, IT security & other supporting infrastructure required to deploy the solutions in a turn-key model
- Able to lead & drive internal & external partners to contribute towards a winning technical proposal & detailed costing worksheet under demanding schedule
- Highly motivated & willing to work in a rapidly evolving, fast paced environment
- Good communications & collaboration skills with strong analytical & problem solving capabilities
- Masters / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / Engineering/ IT
- Diploma holders with 11+ years of similar experience can be considered
- Possesses 10+ years of relevant presales and/or delivery experience in related fields
