Job Description:
- Responsible to develop and design Enterprise Network Architecture and Solutions
- Review and validate network designs to ensure that can be implemented successfully
- Act as technical lead for project implementation by managing and coordinating services delivered by external partners
- Perform planning, installation, configuration and commissioning of respective products
- Excellent technology background and skills in Network Solutions: TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, LAN/Data Center Switches (Cisco Catalyst & Nexus Series), Routers, VoIP, Content Filtering Engine, VPN, WLAN, Load Balancers and Storage Networking
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus fabricpath, virtual PortChannel (vPC) and Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV) technologies with Nexus 7000, 5000, 2000 series switches
- Provide post-sales support for problem escalation after office hours
Skill sets:
- Good knowledge and experience in configuring and troubleshooting multi-vendor routers, switches and firewalls
- Working experience with routing and switching technologies
- Technology background and skills in Virtualisation (e.g. VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Working knowledge of Storage Technology (SAN and NAS) from EMC, HDS, IBM, and Oracle
- Good team worker who can also carry out assignments independently
- Capable of coaching and mentoring other systems engineers and customers
