Responsibilities
Manage planning, scheduling, sub-contracting, execution and monitor materials and quality documentations are delivered and completed per schedule to ensure on time delivery and budget are met.
Plan the flow of material and work order for respective jobs
Raise material requisition in advance and monitor the delivery status, review and recommend material substitution where necessary
Consider cost, quality and on-time delivery to undertake make or sub-out decisions effectively
Liaise with personnel from various departments, monitor and report progress of jobs, highlight issues and constraints affecting cost, quality and on-time delivery and put forward recommendations to superior
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of planning experience preferably in oil & gas, marine & offshore or heavy engineering industry
Strong organizational and coordination skills
MUST KNOW HOW TO READ ENGINEERING DRAWINGS, BOMs (Bill of Materials), JOB ROUTINGS.
Candidates must be able to handle high pressure and have the initiative and drive to get things done
