Infrastructure Technical Services Manager
- Leading a team to support Infrastructure Support services for whole Infrastructure products.
- Managed various infrastructure consolidation projects including Data Center moves, technology stack upgrades, etc.,
- Responsible for managing & tracking Performance and capacity management activities covering complete infrastructure setup.
- Other activities include coordinating Audit issues, Implementing application's Disaster Recovery strategy, creating Succession plans and resource resiliency.
- Implementing new architecture combining similar products in a farm to lessen license cost on CPU.
- Experienced in all phases of Server Management across different brands of servers and involved in activities such as Architecture, Development. Implementation and Production support.
At least 10years of relevant experience with recent 4 years a project management capacity.
- Experience in setting up of Infrastructure for new Projects which include Installation and configuration of WebServer. (Iplanet), Weblogic/WebSphere under HA environments.
- Ability to provide technical support and investigate Severity production problem and provide assistance and guidance in resolving the problem.
- Assist in recovery of the services in case of any failure or major problems.
- Lead for a variety of system upgrade, migration projects and security solutions.
- Lead installation of latest patches for security bugs and relevant platform specific packages
- Responsible for Capacity Planning for Unix and related infrastructure
- Manage all phases of project planning, R&D, documentation, implementation, and
Support functions.
- Capacity Planning, involving thorough analysis of a system, tapping the bottleneck and enhancing the performance.
- Work with User Services to ensure current SLA or QI is correctly structured to provide maximum recovery windows without jeopardizing service to the user community.
- Analyzing the performance of the Servers and suggesting recommendations to clients.
