QA Assistant Manager or QA Manager
The successful candidate is responsible for defining and establishing security and quality assurance standards and frameworks for the assigned project. You shall be leading the teams of Tech Support, Quality Assurance – SQA and Security Consultants to implement, evaluate and maintain the security and quality assurance standards for project. In addition, you will communicate the project security and quality issues to the project managers.
Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for managing security and project governance, overseeing the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and framework pertaining to the security and quality management policy
• Provide leadership for developing and directing security and quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Drive the evaluation, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of the infrastructure for project
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of the appropriate guidelines from Corporate (BMS, Security Council) and client to ensure consistency and alignment to the overall SQA and Security framework
• Partner with the respective project team managers for process improvements in various processes involved in the project
• Liaise with the bank audit team to establish an overarching governances & consistent auditing framework for the project
• Establish, plan & manage the audit / review framework for: -
o Project SQA
o Information security on application system
o Infrastructure & network security
o Procedure compliance overall project level
• Plan, manage & review the internal and external audits / review results. Propose corrective and preventive actions plan in addressing gaps highlighted in the audit.
• Advice, review & approve the Procedures, Processes & Policies under the custodian of SQA
• Advice and work out the overall training plan (e-learning) to ensure mandatory training requirements & needs are met
Requirement
• At least 8 years of working experience on projects QA, preferably with 3 year experience as a QA Analyst and 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of the security and quality assurance process
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Be certified in Information Security (ISO 27000) and / or software quality assurance area is an advantage
• Posses initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high quality standards
• Strong problem solving and crisis management skills and be able to think out of the box
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivator with a positive attitude and with high energy
• Able to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship
• Customer focused
• Able to travel as required
